At Gentle Family Dentistry, we believe that composite fillings are the best ones for you.  Unlike silver fillings, white fillings not only look great cosmetically but they are bonded to your teeth to prevent decay leakage and leave your teeth stronger.  Bonding or gluing them to your teeth means that they will not leak around the edges and the tooth will also be less likely to crack or break.  If you have any silver fillings, you should have them checked for leaking decay or cracks.
