What is your philosophy about treating children? When should they be seen?
A good age to see most children is 2-3 years of age. Children can be seen sooner if you feel there is a problem. At 2-3 years of age, most children will have all of their baby teeth and it is a good point in time to check their growth and development and check for tooth problems.
Our goal is to make dentistry a great experience for every child. We do not believe in pushing or forcing children beyond their comfort level. Too many adults have had bad experiences early in life which have caused them to end up with dental phobias and problems later on. If parents are not careful, these issues can be passed on to their children. One of the most rewarding things we do is to make dentistry a great experience for kids and see this carried on into adulthood.
