The intra-oral camera has become one of the most useful diagnostic tools available to dentists.  They are used to detect and magnify cracks and decay in teeth so that they are more readily apparent.  This technology is essential to dental practice and is used in our office to evaluate almost every patient.  We have been using dental intra-oral cameras in our office since they were first introduced about 20 years ago.  If you have not had your teeth examined with an intra-oral camera, please request to do so.  Best of all, you can actually see for yourself everything we see on the TV monitor!
